1. Check the eligibility category and destination documents for every traveler.
2. Register with each intended departure terminal through the AMC self-signup tool or the terminal’s accepted method. Keep proof of signup. Signup is generally valid for 60 days.
3. Check the terminal’s public short-range schedule and arrival instructions.
4. Arrive in time to mark yourself present and follow the terminal’s roll-call instructions.
5. Selection depends on passenger and cargo priorities and released seats. Keep your commercial fallback available.

Real costs

Budget commercial positioning flights, ground transport, hotels while waiting, meals and a commercial journey home. Patriot Express Space-A can involve fees; obtain the current amount from the terminal. A zero airfare does not mean a zero-cost trip. Avoid connecting an uncertain hop to a nonrefundable cruise, appointment or flight.
