Practical guide

At a glance

A legitimate military credit, but the North American offer is not automatically available to someone booking from Thailand.

Market restriction and value

The U.S. program applies to guests booking in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Bahamas or U.S. Virgin Islands. Credit is US$50 for up to six days, US$100 for 7–13 days or US$250 for 14+ days. It is not a reduction of cruise fare. UK bookings have a different program and smaller credit tiers; do not mix the two.

Who qualifies

Listed U.S., Canadian, UK, Australian and New Zealand forces qualify under the appropriate service rules. The linked form includes retirees with 20 years, medical retirement or 100% disability, plus honorably discharged veterans with two years or six months in an active war zone, or a qualifying educational discharge. Spouse status alone does not qualify.

How to apply

Confirm booking-market eligibility, then use the official application and required evidence at least 14 days before departure; black out Social Security numbers. Credit excludes third/fourth-berth guests, casino and Hotel and Dining Service Charges; it is nonrefundable and combines with other onboard credits and most fares. No specific available Asia sailing or eligible rate was verified in this review.
