Confirm Dragon Hill Lodge eligibility in Seoul
Practical guide
At a glance
The hotel’s own current page lists broader disabled-veteran eligibility, but access still needs checking.
Current local policy
Dragon Hill Lodge lists retirees and eligible families, 100% service-connected disabled veterans, and an expanded category for service-connected veterans, Purple Heart recipients, former POWs and designated primary caregivers. For the expanded veteran category it accepts qualifying VHIC or a current VA service-connected letter, paired with acceptable identity documentation.
Do not confuse booking with admission
The hotel is on Yongsan Army Installation. Its page describes separate identification, local DBIDS registration and guest sponsorship procedures. Ask the front desk about every traveler, especially a non-U.S. spouse, before paying for transport. Older or other-resort pages can conflict: Hale Koa’s eligibility page still says expanded access excludes Dragon Hill. Use Dragon Hill’s own policy and obtain direct confirmation.
Costs
This is paid lodging, not free accommodation. Obtain a date-specific rate, cancellation terms and access confirmation, then compare civilian Seoul hotels.
