Check New Sanno lodging eligibility in Tokyo
Practical guide
At a glance
New Sanno lists military retirees with valid identification among its eligible guests. Confirm your category and each accompanying guest before booking.
Who qualifies
The hotel explicitly lists active-duty retirees and retired reservists with valid ID. Retired dependents must be accompanied by the sponsor. Nonretired disabled veterans are not separately listed; the hotel says unlisted categories are not authorized. Do not assume U.S. MWR access automatically extends here.
Cost and booking
From October 1, 2026, published retiree Category IV rates include $120 single and $136 double/twin per night. Reservations are subject to availability, generally up to 180 days ahead and 14 consecutive nights. Cancellation less than seven days ahead can cost one night; shortening a stay after check-in can incur 50% of the cancelled period. Recheck terms before paying.
Published terms checked 25 October 2026. Recheck the official page for your dates before making a commitment.
Where it fits
Located in Minami-Azabu, Tokyo. It is not an airport hotel or a substitute for a confirmed flight. Compare civilian hotels with transport and cancellation terms included.
